PolicyTracker withdraws from X/Twitter

Following far-right riots in the UK PolicyTracker will no longer post on social media platforms which do not take effective action to prevent hate speech.

| Martin Sims

PolicyTracker’s main offices are in London, and over the past week the UK has seen riots led by the far right targeting ethnic minorities and asylum seekers. The sentiments behind these riots have been amplified by accounts on X/Twitter promoting hate speech and anti-Islamic sentiments.

For this reason PolicyTracker will no longer be posting on social media platforms which do not have appropriate and effective content moderation policies.
